ESPN.com once again released its monthly poker ranking system known as The Nuts. ESPN try to take all forms of poker, including Betfair poker, into account to create a ranking system they believe highlights the very best in the game – right now.

A panel consisting of ten members of the poker media chooses the rankings. They are Gary Wise, Bernard Lee and Andrew Feldman of ESPN, ESPNdeportes.com poker editor Nahuel Ponce; Bluff magazine editor-in-chief Lance Bradley along with managing editor Jessica Welman, PokerNews editor-in-chief Elaine Chaivarlis and tournament reporter Don Peters, Pocketfives’ Dan Cypra, and Poker Road’s Court Harrington.

For the second consecutive month the top ten players remain the same, but they have had their own little game of musical chairs. The former Betfair World Champion, Jonathan Duhamel, has moved from 5th to 2nd place after his recent string of wonderful performances. The man who once held that second place spot, Erik Seidel, has slipped to 5th spot. The man who tops the all-time money list had a dream 2011, but a self imposed poker sabbatical has meant Seidel’s face on the poker circuit has been a rare one hence his slip from grace.

The British online legend that is, Chris Moorman, has moved up one spot and now resides in 6th, Vanessa Selbst also moves in the right direction taking 7th, while Shawn Buchanan and Sam Trickett are the players who have dropped holding 9th and 10th respectively.
